TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Membership Eligibility Membership is open to individuals who support the aims and objectives of Women in Film and Television (WIFT) Australia. Categories include:
Professional Membership: For women and non-binary individuals actively engaged in the screen industry.
Concession Membership: For those on low incomes, as self-identified.
Student Membership: For full-time students not yet professionals.
Supporter Membership: For individuals who support WIFT Australia’s goals but do not qualify for other membership types.
Sponsor Membership: For individuals who do not identify as a woman, or non-binary but who support the objectives of WIFT Australia.
Renewing Membership: For those who have already purchased a membership with us in the last 12 months and want to renew their membership for another 12 months.
2. Membership Fees and Renewal
Membership fees are due annually, with the amount and due date specified upon application and renewal.
You will need to renew your membership on the anniversary date of your initial sign-up (if it is your first time renewing) and on the anniversary date of your previous renewal (if this your second or more time renewing) and your preferred payment method will be charged the annual fee. To update your membership details or cancel your membership, please visit your account settings.
3. Membership Benefits
Access to members-only events, programs, and workshops.
Voting rights in WIFT Australia elections (excludes Supporter Members).
Discounts on events and merchandise.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Members may cancel their membership at any time.
No refunds are provided, except for extreme circumstances, and may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
5. Code of Conduct Members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that supports diversity and inclusivity and respects the rights and dignity of all industry participants.
6. Changes to Terms and Conditions WIFT Australia reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes.
7. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
