Above The Line by Keturah Sutton-Yeomans

A series which promotes and educates the importance and impact of having real female representation and creative involvement within film. The series will discuss a range of topics regarding women in film and tv through industry professional interviews, weekly segments such as; impactful female filmmaker in history and promoting films which fit the Bechdel test.

Definition of Bechdel Test: A tool used to determine whether or not women are portrayed in sexist and or characterised by gender stereotyping ways. To pass the Bechdel test a work must feature at least two named women, these women must talk to each other, and their conversation must concern something other than a man.
