WIFT Australia provides a number of programs, events and initiatives throughout the year for members. These include the Big Screen Sister Mentorship Program, MentorHer, Raising Films Australia, networking sessions, workshops and panel discussions.

  • 6 – 7 September, 18 – 19 October, 22 – 23 November - WIFT VIC presents Sue Maslin’s Creative Leadership Workshop Series: Join one of Australia’s most successful creative entrepreneurs in this life-changing series of workshops about how to build a sustainable creative business, why creative leadership matters and how to develop your own personal style of leadership.   • 8 September - WIFT Australia to present: The Women of Sci-Fi Short Film Line-Up: The SciFi Film Festival and Event Cinemas are proud to announce that Women in Film & Television Australia will be Presentation Partner for The Women in SciFi Short Film Session on Sunday, September 8 at 1.00pm. Dedicated to achieving gender equality in the Australian sector for female-identifying screen industry practitioners. More information on the films screening here

  • 11 September - WIFT NSW present In The Works: Would you like your short film, web series, or short script to be audience-tested before you take it to market? Feedback is an essential step to improve your work. Your film will screen at the Event Cinemas George Street’s screening bar for a private audience of WIFT members and friends. More info here
